TABLE MOUNTAIN Bustling cities, diverse geography and the largest mammals on Earth — there is very little that Africa does not offer the curious traveller. The South African city of Cape Town is a great entrée to the wonderment of the continent, and most tourists start with Table Mountain, where you can ride a cable car to the top for stunning views of the port city. NAMIB-NAUKLUFT PARK There is something magical about the Namib-Naukluft Park, in Namibia, which encompasses parts of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft mountain range, along the southwest African coastline. The springbok is the most common antelope in Namibia, and they are well equipped to the harsh desert owing to their ability to extract moisture from rich tubers and roots.
